A digital audio recording reference of modern commercial and military radio data modems. Recordings feature true samples of digital data streams as digitized in my lab with actual modems. Included are the regulars --- FSK, NBFSK etc... and some of the new modes such as SERIAL (MIL-STD-188-110A), NB-SERIAL, NATO STANAG 4285, NATO STANAG 4529, 39 TONE (Multi Tone) etc... Now includes spectral analysis views of the modem waveforms.

Canadian Air Show Radio Frequency Guide (September 03, 2021)
The guide is currently under development but does include the Canadian International Air Show frequencies held at the CNE in Toronto and the Hamilton International Air Show held in Hamilton.

WWVB Maintenance (March 09, 2021)
Notice for March 9-April 9, 2021:
The WWVB broadcast system is being upgraded with new equipment to improve the reliability of the signal. In order to install this equipment, beginning on March 9, 2021 the WWVB signal may be operated on a single antenna at approximately 30 kW radiated power for periods up to several days in duration, and may have occasional outages. Periods of reduced power operation lasting longer than 30 minutes will be logged on the WWVB Antenna Configuration and Power web page, and any outage longer than five minutes' duration will be recorded on the WWVB Outage web page. Upgrades are expected to be complete by April 9, 2021.

Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) (May 12, 2020)
Due to ongoing COVID-19 concerns, the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) has been cancelled for 2020. The temporary pause of this year's CNE also means that there will be no CNE Air Show for this season. The CNE will return in 2021.

Radio Station WWV & WWVH (June 18, 2017)
NOTICE: The National Weather Service Atlantic and Pacific High Seas and Storm Warning announcements as broadcast on WWV and WWVH are scheduled to be discontinued on October 1, 2017.
CFH Weather and Fax Broadcast Cease (September 02, 2010)
The Canadian Forces Fleet MetOc Broadcast service (radioteletype and radiofacsimile) was placed in abeyance effective September 2, 2010.
The following CFH HF radio frequencies are currently no longer active:
